I don’t always tune in to #GeneralConference as I’m inactive, but I did this afternoon. I was mesmerized by the speaker who spoke of his son’s mental illness, depression and attempt to take his life. This talk was relevant for everyone. What we need is talks we can relate to.

Imagine how quickly the devastating conflicts would be resolved if all chose to follow Jesus Christ and heed His teachings. In that spirit, I invite you to listen this #GeneralConference for three things: pure truth, the pure doctrine of Christ, and pure revelation.

God is not an emotional rollercoaster. He has eternal perspective, eternal patience as He watches us grow and learn over time (including the next life). He loves us, and just wants us to love Him, love others and progress a little more each day. #GeneralConference
