LDS Church Launches Brand New Media App

LDS Media Library App: A New Tool for

Teaching

Have you ever wanted to show your Sunday class part of a video on a larger screen? Or have you wanted to play music or display a series of images for Family Home Evening? How about sharing media for a lesson on the go? The LDS Media Library app is now available and will enliven any Sunday class or lesson. The app can be found here, and provides access to the entire public LDS Church Media Library.

This means that any publicly available video, image, or music the Church produces will be available for you to use while teaching. Keep reading to see how this app is useful.

Easy to Use

Effortlessly search media with helpful filters to find inspiring content. When you find media, simply add it to a playlist. It will be ready for you to present either on your device or by casting it to a second screen. Adding
presenter’s notes can give you reminders of talking points for each slide. The LDS Media Library app is useful and
user friendly.

Control Content

You can trim video and music files to only play the selection you want. Playlists are easy to edit; add and remove
content with the touch of a finger. The LDS Church Media Library, accessible by this app, is full of media and ideas for your Sunday and Family Home Evening lessons.

No Internet Required

All the media you add to your playlists will automatically download, so you don’t have to worry about lag times
with your building’s WiFi.

Prepare Anywhere

The app is available on Android or Apple devices, so you can prepare your lesson from your phone or tablet wherever you are.

While every teacher has their preferred method for preparing lessons, we hope this tool will be of use to you in organizing your lessons and inspiring your classes.
