Often times on LDS S.M.I.L.E. we share stories of how members in the church comfort others in their time of need. Regardless of what religion or lack thereof they may be practicing, we help and mourn with those that mourn.
This story however is just the opposite. A scared, worried LDS sister missionary, who was about to go on her mission ends up being on the receiving end of truly Christ-like compassion (though the woman providing the comfort herself is not “deeply religious”).
Another story that just shows that we are really all in it together and just because we are from different faiths, beliefs and values, we can still comfort and “mourn with those that mourn.”
