A terrific tribute from some well known LDS personalities about their moms.
Kori Andrews and his wife Katie have started a Youtube channel supporting and celebrating families. Two weeks ago we finally determined to jump in with both feet. We decided that if I was going to do a channel about families then we should begin by focusing on what we believe to be the most amazing part of the family, mothers. Kori reached out to some LDS actors, musicians, and online influencers and asked them if they would be willing to collaborate with each other and him on a Mother’s Day Tribute video.
He was able to interview a total of 22 incredible people in three days. As Kori puts in his own words.
It was truly an unforgettable and inspiring experience for my wife and I to hear of the great love these individuals have for their mothers. We would not have been able to do this without our friend Alex Balinski who allowed us to use his equipment for both filming and editing. Alex has over 10,000 videos on YouTube Channel Prepare To Serve so his help and expertise on this project was invaluable.
The title of the collaborative video was influenced, in part, by a quote from Elder Jeffrey R. Holland, “No love in mortality comes closer to approximating the pure love of Jesus Christ than the selfless love a devoted mother has for her child.”
It’s a great project and something that we hope we all can help support.
