Julie Olson

Julie Olsen, a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints from Silverdale, Washington, will represent her state at the American National Teenager Scholarship Organization competition in Nashville at the end of July.

Julie will take the opportunity to gain exposure for Stand Up For Kids, a non profit organization that helps homeless and disadvantaged youth. “If I don’t stand up for them, who will?” She says.

Julie forfeited her 16th birthday to gather donations for the organization. She wants to challenge others to follow her example and donate their birthday to making the world a better place with the Beauty Queen Birthday Challenge.
