This year as we were trying to find a fun place for our family reunion we came across a beautiful getaway called the Beaver Mountain Lodge. After seeing the pictures, awesome location and affordable pricing we were sold! It was an easy decision and all of our extended family agreed right away. Beaver Mountain Lodge is a gorgeous 10,00o+ square foot home that can sleep over 60 people! There was tons of space and so many fun activities for the family to do.
Before the Trip

It was so fun before the trip to show the kids pictures of the “bunk bed room” where all the cousins would be sleeping! All three of our kids were jumping up and down and so excited for weeks before we went! John and I were excited for the hot tub, swimming pool, fire pit, 2000 square foot pavilion with a basketball court, volleyball net, 40 acres of hiking and land to play on, two awesome game rooms with a pool and ping pong table, and the list seriously goes on and on!
Arriving in Beaver for our Family Reunion
So the day finally arrived and we were off to Beaver! As excited as the pictures made us, nothing prepared us for how amazing this house really was. As we pulled off the main road we wound around for a few miles until we were secluded and as we rounded the curve out of nowhere this spacious beautiful home sat in front of us! It was so cute to hear my little three year old gasp and then yell, “Look, there’s Beaver!” We pulled up into the large driveway and into the 4 car garage. The outside was so amazing that we couldn’t wait to get in and see the inside!
And man it did not disappoint! The kitchen was so huge with TWO huge islands and the best appliances. The kitchen was fully stocked with dishes, pots and pans, and all the tools you would need to cook for an army size group! Off the kitchen was a huge round table that could sit at least 12 people and a living room with a big screen t.v., huge fireplace, and tons of seating. My favorite part was the entire back wall was large windows that looked out over the back patio and mountains. The views from the backyard were simply amazing and so peaceful and serene.
As our extended family started arriving it was so fun to see the amazed looks on their faces as they pulled up and saw the house! Soon everyone was there and we had all picked our bedrooms out and the kids had all picked their bunk bed out! That bunk bed room was so fun. We counted 18 beds in that one room!!!
So Much To Do!
Over the next two days we had non stop fun! All the guys loved the basketball court and game rooms with the pool table, ping pong, foosball, mini-shot basketball arcade and air hockey table. The kids discovered a play room up above the garage that had a play house for all the younger ones and a stage for the girls that put on I think about 10 different performances for us over the stay!
They also had a giant tube slide that went from the top patio down to the lower patio that my three year old spent the majority of the day in and a playground with swings and a trampoline! I mean, these kids were not bored for one second of our time there! (Every parent’s dream, right?!)
And for the ladies, we loved hanging out on the upper patio in the big comfy chairs so we could see everyone down below playing, watching movies, playing card games, and just RELAXING!!!
Memories We’ll Have for a Lifetime
I can’t imagine what I could add to this stay that would have made it any better! We LOVED it! There was something there for everyone and I guess my only regret is that we didn’t have more time there. I would HIGHLY recommend Beaver Mountain Lodge to anyone that wants to get away for a beautiful and relaxing trip.
One of the best parts of the Beaver Mountain Lodge is that even though it can sleep up to 60 (yes, we said 60) people, it’s so big and there is so much to do that you are not on top of each other and can find your own personal space to relax and rewind without having everyone around you. But when you do want to come together, there’s plenty of space to do so. This was so much fun for a family reunion and I already know that the entire family wants to make this an annual trip. I think Beaver Mountain Lodge just became our new spot for all of our family reunions for now on! We wanted to give Ken a big shout out and thank the Beaver Mountain Lodge for hooking us up with this amazing stay at the lodge.
Beaver Mountain Lodge has 12 bedrooms, 9 1/2 bathrooms, large kitchen and gathering spaces, RV hookup, 4 car garage, large covered parking, 2 game rooms, 2000 sq ft pavilion, park, trampoline, basketball court, volleyball court, fire pit, swimming pool, hot tub, laundry facilities, 40 acres of land, and beds to sleep 60 people.
