I love all the different types of nativity scenes there are out there. I have a couple fancy ones that the kids cannot touch. But I also have some fun ones that the kids love playing with. There is nothing more sweet then your child playing and loving the baby Jesus! So if you need to make a kid friendly set, here are some ideas to get you started. I love these because not only can the kids play with them, but they can also help make them.
Here is a cute paper nativity that you just need to cut and tape. You can get the templates at www.kidpremiership.com

I have a set of these nativity scene wooden blocks that my sister in law gave me about 4 years ago and my kids LOVE playing with them. And they still look brand new so I think this is a great set for kids to play. You can find some simple instructions here.
