You know those times when you have the TV on, the kids are running circles around your house, and your toddler is crying at your feet while you are trying to get lunch ready for everyone? Yea that is a scene that is all to familiar at my house. So I have been looking for ways to calm things down a bit and I found something that works like a charm! One of my favorite things to do when I start feeling like my home is chaos is I put in Michael Ethingtons solo piano collections. I absolutely love putting his CD in, turning the TV off and watching the peace quickly come into my home! Michael’s CD’s have popular hymns that are uniquely arranged on the piano and every song is beautiful but I think my favorite one is “We Thank Thee, O God, For a Prophet.” on his Believe album. Along with the Believe
album he also has one called Become that is also just as beautiful. And this year I was so excited that he came out with a Christmas album called Sacred Birth. You can check out all his music on his website ldspianosolo.com
We are also excited that Michael has given us some of his albums as giveaway’s and we are going to have a contest to win his new Sacred Birth CD. Here is how to win: Just leave a comment below of your favorite line or phrase from your favorite Christmas song. Whoever has the most likes by 8:00 pm tonight is the winner!! You can enter as many times as you would like. Good luck!

If a wiser one should have had my place
But I offer all I am
For the mercy of your plan

Then pealed the bells more loud and deep “God is not dead nor doth he sleep. the wrong shall fail, the right prevail with peace on earth, goodwill to men'”
I heard the bells on Christmas day.
Mary, did you know
that your Baby Boy would one day walk on water?
Mary, did you know
that your Baby Boy would save our sons and daughters?
Did you know
that your Baby Boy has come to make you new?
This Child that you delivered will soon deliver you.

It came upon a midnight clear, that glorious song of old, from angels bending near the earth, to touch their harps of gold. 🙂 – It Came Upon A Midnight Clear

Hark! The Herald Angels Sing …
I think the second verse has great meaning.
Hail the heav’n-born Prince of Peace!
Hail the Son of Righteousness!
Light and life to all he brings,
Ris’n with healing in his wings.
Mild he lays his glory by,
Born that man no more may die;
Born to raise the sons of earth,
Born to give them second birth.
No more life’s torn apart and wars would never start and time would heal all hearts, and everyone would have a friend and right would always win and love would never end, this is my grown up Christmas list.
Its a festivis miracle
