This mashup is for all of you who may have just been hiding in a cave over the past year. Musician Chad Neidt has taken twenty songs that were virtually inescapable in 2013 and combined them in one mash-up full of Miley, Taylor and, most impressively, the Harlem Shake. So unless you have been playing World of Warcraft for 12 months straight without any sleep or bathroom breaks, you have most likely have heard many of these songs.
Lucky me… haven’t heard any of these songs.
Not on my classic rock station… not in my MP3 collection… new music acquired in 2013? yes… just not this stuff… and didn’t watch the Grammys…
Well, not lying (intentionally anyway)… further examination off a FB post in 2014 checked out Royals and Roar (but otherwise never heard them)… William Joseph performed Radioactive (in the middle of a lake) so i checked the inferior original… and two other songs re give me a reason and need your love sound familiar (but could be re-treads).
