  1. This would be born in the 70’s/80’s. If you were born in the 90’s, most of this would be lost on you, methinks.

    1. I think more focused on the just being born in the 80’s with bleed over for late 70’s and early 90’s. Most of the things mention got their start in the 80’s or very early 90’s someone born in 1998 would have missed it all, and someone born in 1971 would have been to old for most of it. Even late to mid 70’s people (like myself) were a bit old for Boy meets world, ring pops, and Goosebumps by the time they came out. Conversely even early 90’s people are unlikely to have obsessed over the NES (SNES was out by 1991) or remember the Ducktales/Tailspin combo (Ducktales was removed from the Disney Afternoon in late 1992) heck their parents were probably the ones rewinding at the time. Just because the reference is not lost on you, does not mean it was true about you. I knew about Goosebumps the books but was a bit old for them by the time they came out.
